When digging safe is what’s needed, we got the equipment and the know-how.

Hydrovac trucks use a combination of high-pressure water and a powerful vacuum to break up the soil and debris on-site. The pressurized water effectively cuts and liquefies the soil, making excavation easier and more accurate than manual digging methods12. Unlike traditional mechanical excavation, hydrovac trucks minimize the risk of damaging buried utilities.
Utility potholing (Daylighting): One common use for hydrovac trucks is daylighting—the practice of digging to expose and locate underground utilities. By precisely removing soil around utility lines, hydrovac trucks allow workers to safely identify and repair utility infrastructure without causing damage.
Soil Trenching: Hydrovac trucks are employed for soil trenching, which involves digging narrow trenches to install cables, pipelines, and other in-ground utilities. The controlled excavation process ensures minimal disruption to existing infrastructure.
Piling Hole Excavation: When laying various types of pilings (such as for building foundations or bridges), hydrovac trucks are used to dig holes of different diameters and depths. The accuracy of hydro excavation ensures proper placement of pilings.
Debris Removal: Hydrovac trucks efficiently remove debris from excavation sites. The high-volume vacuum system collects both fresh water and soil, containing them within the truck-mounted unit.
